In 2018, #GlitchGoddess of Art Basel Miami with Picasso and Wood #Arthack went viral on the internet with millions of views while set to a dialog of women discussing inequality in the art world. Profiled in dozens of international art publications as the first feminist art piece with major viral metrics, #GlitchGoddess acts as an intervention by glitching the art historical depictions of women in a singular form, using digital plasticity to fluidly switch from slender, heavy, pregnant, glitched, fashion-informed, and stylized, to abstract. 

This #GlitchGoddess in Pink was created specifically for the Dreamverse NFT Art exhibition from the Metapurse Fund and Time magazine in NYC (November 2021).

Part of a suite of #Lordess drops, this variation uses different transformations and colors within the same intersecting body drop premise, with another Voxelized AI GAN-generated painting. Exploring both Digital Embodiment and Post Digital painting in animation, this figure is derived from Marjan’s #arthacks on the Internet and also her viral #GlitchGoddesses that resist a singular body type. 

The most surrealistic of her figures in her unique style of 3dCG, Lordess expands a traditionally female form rooted in physical desire & longing into its opposites with dropping breasts & big rotund midsection, expanding the dialog of digital bodies into the metaverse aesthetically & also conceptually. 

Lordess was also featured in Trebeuchet Art Magazine's Contemporary Surrealism issue & French Fries Magazine's Dreamers from around the world issue.

An animated painting derived from Marjan's Art Basel Miami 2019 #arthack, #Lordess has been featured in several articles, including the Contemporary Surrealism special issue of Trebeuchet international art magazine. 

“Using my signature style of 3dCG figuration and animation, she is posed against a voxelized, glitched, Blue and Green, AI GAN-generated painting. She glitches a contrapposto with multiple amorphous “drops” within the body mesh, through intersection, re-arrangement, relocation, and scalar exaggeration. As Digital Embodiment, her “drop” explores the most extreme transformation of humanity resulting from technology. I created the sound design as a chirping, stereo-panning, electronic chiming backdrop."

#GlitchGoddess of Art Basel Miami with Picasso #Arthack became the first feminist digital Art piece to go viral on top Art Channels on Instagram & Facebook with 10s of millions of views & hundreds of thousands of shares and comments in 2018. 

Derived from the viral hit which featured voices of women artists talking about inequality, the #GlitchGoddess resists the Art historic convention that the female body is a singular form as she goes from curvy, slender, heavy, pregnant, stylized, and abstract to glitched. 

Using Marjan's original and unique style of animation called Chronometric Sculpture, #GlitchGoddess acts as a digital art intervention.

Derived from the Glitching Antinous animation of 2018, as Net Art, this version expands the original 1:1 animation into a 9 x 16 composition with the addition of a glitched Corinthian column. The original animation used Marjan’s signature Chronometric Sculpture technique with the 3d mesh of the British Museum Antinous. For this technique Marjan literally sculpted frame by frame. “I did over 1000 sculpts for Antinous mixed with generative and procedural 3d deformations”, she explains. “The same way various sculptural mediums can have distinct aesthetics, the digital also has inherencies that redefine form and volume based on the medium. For me it was about exploring a time-based approach to these volumetric possibilities with the digital tool kit.

"Nowhere to Run" is a commissioned digital art collection for UNHCR, Tezos, Objkt, and The Collectors Club in honor of World Refugee Day. 

"I created seven bespoke animations with electronic music, using advanced 3D AI to portray contemporary refugees in the style of classical European sculptures. This blend recontextualizes how immigrants are seen, merging artistic ideals with the faces of displaced individuals to challenge perceptions and evoke empathy. The pieces invite viewers to view refugees with the same reverence as historical masterpieces, showcasing their grace and resilience. As a refugee myself, who moved to the West at 18 and became self-supporting by 21, this work is deeply personal. I initially crafted 20 AI-generated 3D meshes, which I refined, animated, and enriched with shaders and glitch elements in my signature style. Seven of the best were selected for minting, each rendered using a Physically Based Render engine."
